ACES (Air Conditioning Energy Saver)

ACES - Air Conditioning Energy Saver

When looking at the theory behind saving energy on Air-Conditioning Systems we need to start identifying which part of the system consumes the maximum power. In a simple Air-con unit, the fan consumes approx 10%/20%, where as the compressor uses around 80%/90% of the total power. This means that the compressor should be more energy efficient. But how can that be achieved without compromising the performance of the unit? Aces help to detect when overcapacity occurs, and switches off the compressor avoiding inefficiency. Infact Air-con unit goes into 'saver mode'. The room temperature is set without affecting the cooling cycle; the compressor turns on when the stored energy is used up.

  • An ACES adds state-of the art intelligence to air-con systems and improves their energy efficiency.
  • It achieves average energy savings of between 20% and 30% resulting in a short payback.
  • It is a retro-fit product to upgrade existing units which can be installed in about 15 minutes.
  • It is an excellent alternative to an expensive new system.
  • It is engineered and manufactured in Europe to the highest quality standards.
